InterVino utilities 128-bit encryption when accepting personal information from customers.

What does 128-bit encryption mean?

128-bit is the most advanced encryption available, which means you can have total confidence in your dealings with our website. We use Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol as it is the standard used on the web for authenticating and encrypting information. It is also a main requirement by the bank to approve merchant facilities.

How does it work?

SSL authentication means you can confirm you are dealing with InterVino. You can check that our certificate and authority are valid and that they have been issued by the right authority.

SSL encryption requires that all information sent between you and InterVino is encrypted. This ensures that your privacy is protected over the internet, meaning that you can send us private information with confidence (eg. your credit card number). On-line purchases are facilitated via ANZ eGate as our secure gateway provider.

128-bit encryption requires you to have version 5.5 or later of Internet Explorer. If you do not have this browser, simply click here.

How does it affect you?

Your personal information is protected from interception or hacking. This provides you with the confidence and convenience of dealing with us on-line.

128-bit is the standard for large scale on-line e-commerce sites, banks and insurance companies.

Still uncertain about providing your credit card details over the internet?

At InterVino we understand that technology can sometimes be a little overwhelming. So if you prefer to order the old-fashioned way, simply contact us via phone or drop a cheque and the order form into the post. If your delivery is urgent, we can even accommodate an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) from your bank to ours.
